Lahnsteiner - Ironfinger Mega IPA

Initially, the Lahnsteiner MEGA IPA was named "CARAMBA CARACHO!" because of its sensory impact. - These were the first words of judgement that brewer Ulli Hastenplug used to describe the craft beer after tasting it. And it was with this name that the Lahnsteiner brewery initially launched its craft beer range on the market. It was at this time that Axel Ritt and Dr Markus Fohr met. Axel Ritt had already created St. Kilian, a whisky for fans of the metal band Grave Digger, in close collaboration with whisky maker Mario Rudolf, which surprised eyes, nose and tongue with its impressive complex potential. And so, after getting to know each other and the first tasting, the decision was quickly made in favour of the Lahnsteiner MEGA IPA - the idea and name "IRONFINGER MEGA IPA" were born. The MEGA IPA is a naturally cloudy top-fermented strong beer modelled on an American Double IPA that rocks every tongue!
