This dark-colored beer is a blend of several dark malts. The chocolatey aroma and subtle sweetness produced by the roasted malts linger on the palate, creating a complex umami flavor. While it is common in Japan to drink beer chilled to between 5 and 7 degrees Celsius, this Black Ale is best enjoyed at a slightly higher temperature of around 10 degrees Celsius to enhance the complex flavors created by the dark malts and yeast.
