Beer description
Ölvisholt's Christmas seasonal beer, Jólabjór, is a smoked bock beer introduced in 2009. A top-fermented ale spiced with cinnamon, cloves, ginger and orange peel. The dark color comes from lightly toasted Munich malt to give the beer the body needs a Chrismas beer requires. Hallertauer Hersbrucker hops support then render the British First Gold hops, which lend the beer a soft bitterness to balance the malt flavor seats.
