Yes, we've produced a Smoothie Sour, and probably the 1st made in France (to our knowledge)! Hated by some (“mAiS c'Es p'EsT d'La BièRe §§§”), adored by others, the Smoothie Sour style had been on our “To Do List” for some time, but many technical questions remained to be resolved before we could take action. Now that all the questions have been answered, we're left with a thick, AAARCHI-esque drink made with around 45% unfermented fruit purees (banana, mango and passion fruit). Unlike most Smoothie Sours produced in the US or Eastern Europe, we decided not to use Lactose or Marshmallow, to avoid ending up with an overly sweet or “chemical industrial candy” result, and to make way for fruit, and nothing but fruit!
