Kaiserhof Kronach - Kaiserhöfer Kronator

The bottom-fermented strong beer “Kronator” is only served during the strong beer season around March 19. During this time, the traditional strong beer festival also takes place at the Kaiserhofbrauerei brewery. This beer, which is produced using traditional brewing methods and left to mature for a full 100 days, is therefore something very special. The slightly sweet taste of Kronator, due to its high original wort content, goes perfectly with hearty dishes such as the typical Franconian blue bratwurst sausages. Dark auburn beer with a small beige head. The smell includes dark malts, roasted malts, chocolate and dark fruits. Röstmalzig-sweet taste, dark fruitiness and some chocolate round off. Sweet, malty finish.
