Kehrwieder - Hamburger Senatsbock Barrel Aged #2

A Belgian seasonal yeast gives the Senatsbock Extra Brut 2023 a wonderfully dry character with exciting spicy notes. This creation was allowed to linger in the barrel room for 12 months, resulting in two different wooden barrel editions. The Barrel Aged Senatsbock #2 matured for a full 12 months in Wheat Whiskey (Ex Brandy) barrels. The result is a doppelbock of incomparable complexity and depth. Notes of stone fruit mingle with the sweetness of vanilla, while the oak from the barrel exudes a subtle warmth and the dark chocolate puts the icing on the cake.
