Beer description
The base beer matured for 4 months in red wine barrels. To this small batch 07-2021, we added organically grown Pinot Noir pomace from the Mosel valley. After 2 months of maceration in the beer, we pressed the concoction and let it mature in Port wine barrels for another 6 months. Tastes like dusty Port with pronounced tannins. Aged for a total of 12 months.
