Kent the Otter is our barrel-aged Barleywine. This is the most insane brew we have ever made. Only Maris Otter malt and East Kent Golding hops were used with a hardy English yeast. This barleywine was meticulously fermented for months before resting in nine small format barrels from our pals at Rock Filter Distillery. A multiplex of flavors was revealed after slumbering for 18 months in these Minnesota oak holts. Caramelized sugar, dried papaya, bittersweet cocoa, orange marmalade, and toasty barrel, playfully frolic across your senses. Featuring simple ingredients that yield complex results. Fabulous for cellaring or drinking now.
