The Austrian Federal Forests (Österreichische Bundesforste) are celebrating their 100th anniversary with a new "forest beer." The jubilee edition, named "Wald der Zukunft" (Forest of the Future), was masterfully brought to life by brewmaster Axel Kiesbye. It's brewed with forest ingredients: fir shoots, larch blossoms, beech leaves, Douglas fir resin, and acorns sourced from Federal Forest districts in Lower Austria, Upper Austria, and Salzburg.
