Kvilda Polotmavý Galapetr 14

The Kvilda brewery was inaugurated in April 2012 and can be found in close proximity to the famous bakery. Here you will find a permanent selection of beers on the tap, which is also enriched with seasonal beer specials. Lovers of the famous film by Karel Kachyňa, the King of Šumava, which was filmed here in Kvilda in 1959, will certainly be pleased with the Galapeter violin case with the content that they have here as an original decoration displayed on the wall. On request, they will be happy to open it. The hall is also dominated by the brewhouse, so you can easily become a direct participant in the cooking process. In the summer months, the owner organizes a beer festival with a wide range of beers from various breweries. Current dates of the festival can be found on the official website of the establishment.
