Beer description

Buvette à Boxcar is an India Pale Lager (IPL) with double raw hops (DDH). This low-temperature fermented yeast gives it a smooth, clean character that balances perfectly with its hoppy character. On the nose, the beer offers notes of hops and coriander. On the palate, the bitterness comes first, leaving a dry finish as the yeast used greatly enhances the bitterness of the Sabro and Eldorado hops. La Buvette à Boxcar is the name of a historic bar that used to be housed in the carriage of a train with a small skylight around 1930 in Val-d'Or. Wherever the train went, it was a former nun, nicknamed Annie Boxcar (Annie Wzalinsky), who had run away from her convent, who opened a bar in the rear carriage. Raw hopping: Sabro, El Dorado (SRM 4)
