La Calavera - Bretternity

Bretternity is a Sour Grape Saison style beer aged in white wine barrels for 12 months to continuing the maturation with whole Xarel·lo and Moscatell grapes for 3 months more. Bretternity is one of our most classic and representative beers of La Calavera since year after year we follow the same procedure to get that characteristic flavor. Each year we harvest the grapes in the same vineyards, in Sant Pere de Ribes, and then add them whole to the barrels. This process feeds and awakens the wild sugars and yeasts of the grapes, provoking a new fermentation. The result is a craft beer with a taste of the countryside, the grape harvest, tradition, customs and experience.
