La Selva Morena

Pours a clear mahogany with an off-white head. The aroma is medium malty with some slightly sweetish malt, honey, raisins, dark fruits, bread, dough and some light, floral, hoppy notes. Medium body with a medium carbonation, a light sweetness, a light to medium bitterness and a light weird acidity. The flavor is light to medium malty - bread, biscuit, some honey, some nuts, raisin, prunes and hints of cardboard. Finishes with an earthy, herbal, hoppy bitterness and some lasting burnt notes. Better when cold and not entirely balanced.
