Labietis - Avenu Mezonis 2024

A fresh look on a classic Belgian style berry ale. We added 1/5 fresh raspberries for a few months to a blended base from our foeder and a pure Brettanomyces fermenatation. The aroma of this crimson red ale combines raspberry candy with the heaviness of berries over their prime. On the tongue this landscape is enriched with slight tartness, some wild yeast funk and a peppery note. Playful and easily drinkable all the way with a refreshing raspberry aftertaste.
