LägereBräu AG - Barrique Blend Maple Sirup Wee Heavy

From October 2024 to December 2025, the "Wee Heavy", as the Scottish beer style is literally translated, rested in Canadian Maple Syrup barrels. Our brewmaster Christian Zieger brewed this malty beer style with six different malts, the hop varieties Challenger & East Kent Golding, and with great care. Time and cool storage favored the development of fine maple syrup, toffee, and hazelnut flavors, as well as an exquisite touch of peat smoke. Despite its Scottish origin, this barrel blend does not skimp on powerful aromas, balanced malt flavors, and a warming finish. A completely perfect drinking pleasure. After all, stinginess is not cool!
