Landskroner Bräu - Contessa Athanum

Our Contessa brings together the best of two worlds: The fruitiness of an IPA and the spiciness of a Belgian Witbier. This creative product is a combination of an American India Pale Ale and a Belgian Witbier (Bière blanche). Hopped like an IPA, fermented with a Wit yeast. Distinctive hop flavours (citrus, orange, grapefruit) from the addition of four coordinated hops characterise the appearance. A lingering bitter flavour in the finish. The addition of four different malts, including wheat malt and caramel malt as well as oat flakes, results in a fine and full body. The beer is refined with coriander seeds and curaçao orange peel.
