Ravensburg, April 2026 - It was celebrated, loved, and became a real cult drink 30 years ago: MAX 5.2. Now the Leibinger Brewery is bringing back this classic and continuing its success story. MAX 5.2 was developed in 1996 by master brewer Michael Leibinger after a stay in Canada. The inspiration from overseas is evident in the English-influenced slogans as well as the innovative pull-off cap at the time. From the beginning, MAX 5.2 stood for a cheeky, bold, and sometimes even provocative concept, and that's exactly what made "the Mäxle" a real audience favorite.
