Beer description
This high fermentation beer was brewed as a tribute to the world famous Dr. Yperman, an Ieper surgeon from the 14th century. Meanwhile, even the reputed medical center of Ypres is named after him. This light red amber pale ale is crowned by a narrow creamy head. The slightly fruity aroma of the herbs present is observed before tasting. With the first sip, the slightly sweet touch with a malty character and a slight caramel taste comes to the fore, followed by a hint of soft hoppe and spicy malt. The aftertaste retains its slightly bitter touch, but ends with a mild herbal flavor.
