The Urban Ale is a West Coast IPA. This makes it a classic representative of the first craft beer wave ever. Characteristic of this beer style are: dry and not too sweet, very hoppy and a crisp bitterness. In addition, this beer is relatively clear and not "hazy" like its younger relatives. The hop character is formed exclusively by the Citra hop variety, which comes into its own in large quantities in the whirlpool and dry hopping areas. The biscuit malt also provides a subtle malt note.
