Booneshine - Let Them Drink Cake

For our first triple collaboration we paired up with Charlotte’s own Divine Barrel Brewing and Lowe’s Foods to brew this Sunday pastry of a beer. Looking like a hearty blonde ale, but drinking like a velvety stout, “Let Them Drink Cake” is our take on a Coffee Cake inspired ale. Utilizing pure vanilla, whole cinnamon sticks, lactose, local VENTURE cocoa nibs (from Colombia and Belize), and Charlotte’s Magnolia Coffee Roasters…this oxymoron of a beer smells like ‘Nilla Wafer' and tastes like a 'cinnamon latte.'
