Brasserie La Canaille - Let's Go

We've been waiting for the weather to be perfect before bringing you our latest beer, but given the weather, we thought we'd better get a move on! Introducing Let's Go ❤️, a steam beer! A what? Yes, you've got it right, that's the name of the style, a steam beer! And why? It's a style created during the Gold Rush by brewers used to making lagers rather than ales. It's a top-fermented lager brewed with bottom-fermented yeast. The result is a lightly fruity beer with distinct malty cereal notes and a grassy character that stands out on tasting. We wanted to give a nod to this "conquest of the west" side with this beautiful drawing by Melvin Zed and for fans, you'll also notice the reference to Rancid and their album Let's Go which Greg loves 🙂 Now you know everything!
