Elliott Bay - Like Father, Like Son

This is a father/son collaboration brew with Jim Goodman(Senior), and James Goodman, our brewer. Jim wanted a hop profile that would evolve from aroma to the end of the swallow and encompass all the best hops have to offer: tropical fruit, citrus, pine, and a touch of funk. And just to make it even more dynamic he wanted to add the complex fruit and spice phenols and esters from Belgian yeast. Yep, there is a lot going on. We kept the bitterness low to show off hop flavor. Share one with your dad, or a dad you know. Aromas of hops, Mandarin orange, Grapefruit, Belgian yeast. Flavors of citrus mélange, pineapple, sap, herbal hop, pink peppercorn. Finishes with a Medium body.
