Lough Gill Brewery - Wine Geese

Wine Geese, a 12% abv New Era Oak Casks Barrel Aged Imperial Stout. NEOC Casks are barrels that are brought back to life after a careful and dedicated regeneration process from the best cooperages of France. These in particular were Bordeaux casks that were refurbished, re-charred and brought back to racks with Irish Whiskey. In other words these staves have a history in their fibres. Expect notes that vary from toasted Oak, Leather, light coffee and toffee in this very delicate product that slowly aged with a lot of care in our cellar in Sligo Town.
