This beer is the epitome of pure lust and arouses the sweetest of the sins. Luxuria presents desire with a heavenly lack of chastity in the form of a full-bodied top-fermented beer with a ruby ​​red colour, a lovely hoppiness, a spicy kick and a long, sensual aftertaste. This gourmet sipping beer is very complex with an emphasis on spices, warmth from the alcohol content (9%) and the mild sweetness. The robust, rich flavour goes extremely well with game and meat dishes in strong-flavoured sauces. The aroma can best be described as complex. Cardamom, cloves and chocolate or coffee are the primary notes. The malty aroma blends perfectly with the refined hoppiness. After ageing for 6 – 12 months, this beer takes on a bouquet of plums, dried fruits, a lovely balance of spices and an irresistible sultry character. The taste and aftertaste are particularly rounded and reveal a hint of roast coffee beans and oriental spices. The finish is characterised by a warm alcohol glow that goes perfectly with the sweetness of the beer. Although the bitter coffee aftertaste resembles that of stout, this beer is actually closer to Scotch in nature.
