Mad Paddle Bon Ton Ruby Red

Sixth beer, Bon Ton Ruby Red, honors Bon Ton Royal Brew, brewed by the Madison Brewing Company circa 1898. Bon Ton means “the height of fashion”. An innovative herb and spice beer, this winter ale contains flavors derived from honey, cherries and Hibiscus. With a lower hop character this allows the added ingredients to shine through. The appearance, mouthfeel and aromas are distinctly different than other beers. Brewed with wildflower honey and tart cherries this beer has cider and wine characteristics offering a uniquely fanciful taste bud experience. Rich red and pink in color with a silky smooth sweetness, highlighted by a hint of flavor from whole hibiscus leaves.
