Beer description
Since 2016, different breweries from around the world have been coming together to contribute their personally selected hop varieties to our popular Double IPA. The result, year after year, is a unique collaborative beer with an international character.
In 2021, the following breweries participated, and some were even present at the brew day:
- Enigma from Welde Braumanufaktur (Germany)
- Galaxy from Braumanufaktur Hertl (Germany)
- Sabro from Brobier Brewing (Germany)
- Southern Passion from Tanker Brewery (Estonia)
- Idaho 7 from Firestone Walker Brewing Co. (USA)
- HVG Zuchtsorte 04 from Maisel & Friends (Germany)
The Double IPA appears golden-orange to amber in the glass. The head is wonderfully creamy with perfect volume. Thanks to the many different hop varieties, you keep detecting new aromas—this specialty beer appeals to all the senses. A multitude of fruit aromas rise to the nose: from mandarin, stone fruit, peach, mango, passion fruit, and grapefruit to pineapple and a hint of honey.
With every sip, new notes emerge as the Hopper is exposed to more temperature and oxygen. The bitterness in the finish is reminiscent of spices like pepper or chili.
The crowning finale is exactly what many IPA lovers adore: a lovely, crisp bitterness with a wonderfully dry mouthfeel, so that the next sip can follow immediately.

Gut gelungenes IPA.
Leicht alkoholisch, dennoch gut trinkbar.
