Spontaneous, sour
Fermentation
Beer description
The Maladzik beer series is dedicated to specialized blends with the participation of wild ales. In this beer, we used a neutral young ale, and then added juicy, sweet-sour Belarusian cherries during the fermentation stage. We didn't destone the cherries to transfer all the unique taste of these berries to the first part of our blend. Next, this beer was mixed with a wild ale, which matured long and slowly in oak calvados barrels. The result of this blend is a complex beer of bright red color, with a clear taste of ripe cherries, subtle shades of marzipan, balanced acidity and truly exciting.
