Brewed like a classic pale beer, the "Maxl Zwickl" from the lager cellar is unfiltered and filled into kegs and bottles in its natural state. The cloudy substances from malt, yeast and hops still present in the unfiltered beer make the Zwickl so drinkable and round in flavour.
It has a characteristically light honey colour with a fine opalescence and a firm and consistent head in the glass. It has a cellar-fresh flavour, a soft mousse on the tongue and a round, full body.
