Aiblinger Schwarzbier is still brewed today in the traditional three-mash process from selected dark malt and stands out from any other dark beer due to its typical fine spicy malt aroma and softly rounded taste. The balanced bitterness from Hallertau aroma hops gives this Schwarzbier its full-bodied yet not sweet taste.
Aiblinger Schwarzbier has been awarded DLG gold for years.
The Aiblinger Schwarzbier is brilliantly mahogany-colored - dark and of a glossy appearance. It has a stable, fine-pored foam. On the palate, the roasted notes can be clearly tasted. It is softly moussing with full, rounded body. The finish is strong with complex roasted notes.
