Mayhew Junction Mayhew Pale

Also known as 3 Legged Dawg. One evening after work, Chris and Katy were on their way to see Jean and Derek and other assorted friends so they could sample a new beer Chris was in the process of perfecting. Nearly there safe, Chris and Katy's car felt a surprising bump in the road as they pulled through the neighborhood. Katy looked back and asked what he ran over as Chris, perhaps a bit defensively, exclaimed that his eyes were on the road and he couldn’t have a hit thing! Their question was quickly answered when a slightly-frantic lady ran from her house yelling that Chris had run over her dog and he better do better something about it, right this moment, young man! As it turns out, the dog in question was a blue-heeler who had chased the car from behind and attempted to take a bite out of one of the back wheels. Little Fido was unsuccessful in that attempt, but he emerged perfectly safe from the failed try. However, Chris felt so bad, and the beer tasted so good, that the crew made fun of him by calling his new brew the Three-Legged Pale in honor of the little Blue Heeler. The Pale is one of their most drinkable beers, and they can confidently share that it helps ease the nerves after a stressful day.
