Perhaps it’s a bit obvious, but they are prone to a little nostalgia here at Mayhew Junction. They love people, places and especially drinks, and the memories of those are what life is all about. It’s why the idea of friends from all over converging on little Mayhew is so perfect to us. Now, Jean in particular is full of love, and among the things she loves are family, friends and good Hefeweizens. This German Heffy is a combination of all three, a sweet banana-heavy crafting by Jean of the drink she so appreciates, in honor of the people who mean the most. Derek and Chris were both raised on German beer, and the ties to the country famous for its brews are constant among the founders and their families. Brewing beer is artistry, and their Mayhew Weiss is Jean’s Mona Lisa, a wheaty love story to those she holds dear.
