Beer description
Aroma- pleasant dark chocolate, with nice oatmeal note and vanilla, but not so clear as I expected from bourbon barrel. Very dark brown, clear, with a minimal head, which reduces to the ring. Taste- oatmeal cookies, nice, but not distinct coffee roastiness, with subtle sourness from roasted malt. On the other hand, barrel ageing effect is barely noticeable- just weak vanilla. Medium-bodied, with a medium-low carbonation (could be a bit lower). In the aftertaste, pleasant oatmeal note, then comes coffee. The basic beer is very good, but I expected much more from barrel ageing.
