J Wakefield Brewing - Menehune Treasure

Menehune Treasure, a collaborative sour ale with Harland Brewing Company, conditioned on passion fruit and Hawaiian plum (Li Hing Mui). In tribute to Hawaiian legend the Menehune, it is said that centuries ago they were a mischievous group of small people, or dwarfs, who lived hidden in the forest and valleys before the first settlers arrived. The Menehune have been known to use magic arrows to pierce the hearts of angry people, igniting feelings of love instead.
