The initial nose of the foam on this brew gives us a hint of what is to come, cloying booziness and bitter cocoa. The play of the Willamette and Colombus hops, serve up light bitterness with an herbaceous tease of anise. Dark, almost black in colour, smooth and warming on the palette.
