Numbered from 1 to 50, the Gaspésiennes crisscrossed the St. Lawrence during the cod fishing era. Gaspésienne No. 13 never saw the light of day. Our intrepid brewers defied fate by revealing the dark side of this robust Porter, brewed with Gaspé barley. Porter comes from the old English methods of malting barley. Once very popular, the style almost disappeared, only to reappear with the advent of craft beers. Pit Caribou offers it to you in a soft roundness of chocolate, coffee and a comforting degree of alcohol.
