Lom - MJØDURT

Meadowsweet, or beer grass, grows in forests and meadows by lakes and streams - even high up in the mountains. When in flower, this is a beautiful plant with a distinctly strong and sweet odour reminiscent of freshly cut hay. Meadowsweet is used as a flavouring in wine and spirits and is said to have a number of medicinal properties.
