Modern Times - Altar of the Orc Lord: Sticky Toffee Edition

To create this life-affirming liquid, we aged two of our finest barleywines—Oblivion Ring and Infinity Gauntlet—in non-peated (non-smoky) Scotch whiskey barrels for a full year. This barrel-type is super rare and almost never seen stateside; needless to say, we were pretty psyched to get our hands on some. Then, just to be extra, we added generous amounts of date syrup, walnuts, and Ugandan vanilla, yielding a rich, caramelly beer that lives up to its name in the most delicious way possible. If you’re in the market for a uniquely decadent and wholly unforgettable beer, this is a pretty excellent choice.
