Beer description
Modern Times is the first brewery / roastery in the world to make beer with barreled coffee beans. The barrel-aged coffee gives the underlying nutty, flowery, full-bodied, Guatemalan coffee layer-by-layer rich bourbon, oak and vanilla character. As a result, City of the Dead is an outrageously complex and tasty stout, even though the beer itself has not spent time in barrels.
