Modern Times - Lava Tones

Imperial Stout aged in bourbon barrels with cocoa nibs, black sugar, and Hawaiian vanilla beans. Inspired by our new ohana over in Hawaii, we made this island-themed Imperial Stout by blending Imperial Stouts aged in bourbon barrels. Then we added Oahu-grown small estate vanilla beans, Okinawa black sugar, and Mexican cocoa nibs. The result is a nuanced mix of layered dessert flavors, rich honey notes, and baker’s chocolate. We think you’ll agree that it lives up to its Name.
