Modern Times - MT Reserve: Beastmaster Aged In XM Schmeller Wheated Bourbon Barrels

Beastmaster is a top-class Imperial Stout – intensely rich, but balanced. We knew it would be the right base beer to pick up all the nuance of our XM Schmeller barrel, one of the most sought-after in the game. After aging for 52 (!) months, Beastmaster emerged with an incredible array of aromas, reminiscent of opening an ultra-high-end bottle of bourbon. You’ll get notes of baking spices, pie, tons of oak... the list goes on. The flavor is also nothing short of magic; we’re really looking forward to hearing what you think of this beer.
