Modern Times - Ponderous Climate

We layered heaps of specialty malts into this beer including abbey, victory, brown, extra dark crystal, pale chocolate, chocolate wheat, and beech smoked malts giving the beer a rich, nutty, and chocolate base. Then we hit it with our own Modern Times Coffee Heavy Weather winter blend from our awesome roasting team. This added a nice dark fruit character to this Coffee Porter along with a hint of rummy goodness. Hazelnut, soft berry, and dark chocolate lead the way in this one.
