Beer description
This collaboration with the grape-sorcerors at Las Jaras Wines began as a blended dark sour, which was aged for a year in red wine barrels and subsequently racked onto a ton and a half of Petit Sirah grapes from the aforementioned virtuosos of viticulture. What we ended up with is a shining testament to the potential of mixed culture fermentation and wine grapes, with a jammy, berry-rich character complemented by bold tannins and a generous helping of funk. We’re pretty pumped about it.
