Beer description
“Spezial”—a staple of the Dornbirn Mohrenbrauerei’s lineup for 130 years. In 1895, the Dornbirn-based family-run brewery bottled the first Spezial in a swing-top bottle and gradually established the variety as an integral part of Vorarlberg’s beer culture. It should not be forgotten that “Spezial” is not only the name of the classic beer from Dornbirn, but also a distinct Austrian beer style or category. In Vorarlberg, it is the most popular variety.
