Beer description
This deglutenized Brune Anglaise is a beer with notes of caramel, honey and ripe red berries. The flavours are nicely balanced by its slightly nutty finish and the earthy, fragrant character of English hops.
In the days before drying of malted barley was strictly controlled, brewers would often use lightly roasted malt, resulting in brown ales whose taste varied in intensity depending on the colour of the grains.
