Its well-balanced flavour profile combines saltiness, mild tartness and the flavours of the popular gourd that inspired its name, topped off by a slight hint of ground coriander seed. Hailing from Germany’s Goslar and Leipzig regions, goses are slightly sour wheat beers traditionally brewed with a little salt and ground coriander seed.
