Beer description
Rich and elegant, Drakkar, a Baltic Porter, features a malty, near syrupy base combining flavours of dried fruits with well-roasted grains. It is aged with oak chips, which add a fine, slightly vanilla, woody note.
The Baltic Porter style comes from Baltic Sea countries and is inspired by their brewers’ recipes. It stood alongside extra-strong English porters and stouts present in the region and distributed to Russia.
