The designation “Abt“ for a beer style comes from the word Abbot, the head monk of a monastery. Monks brewed many types of beers but the strongest and tastiest, in a sense their masterpiece, was named an Abt and was reserved for the Abbot and his guests. Inspired by this tradition brewery present to you L’Assoiffé 12, which offers flavors of caramelized prunes, dates, figs and raisins with just a touch of spices to liven up this divine nectar.
