As water used to be of uncertain quality, Belgian monks began to brew beer early in order to quench their thirst, to serve with meals and to offer to the passer-by who would seek shelter at the abbey. Brewed according to ancestral monastic traditions, our Assoiffé – 6 – Enkel is a smooth, fruity and tasty abbey style blonde ale. It presents nice flavours of golden malts, ripe yellow fruits (apricot, yellow plum, ground cherry) with a touch of wild flower honey. It starts you towards heaven !
