Beer description
Stouts came from the popularity of London porters. In modifying the recipe to end up with less residual sugar, they became “stout porters” and eventually kept only the word “stout” (“strong” in old English). Irish brewers refined this style in making them dryer and with a lower alcohol level, and are still the ones who produce them the most. This Noire comes with mellow torrefied and roasted malt notes resulting in a smooth dry stout easy to drink.
