Beer description
Brewers from the Brussels area offers different fruity versions of their Lambic beers. Refermentation with cherries (Kriek), raspberries (Frambozen) or black currant (Zwarte Bes) are the most common. This Zwarte Bes is produced from a lambic inspired beer fermented according to the ancestral process to which the brewery added a generous portion of black currant. After a refermentation with this fruit, they get a complex and refreshing beverage that offers dry flavours of black currant and black fruits (plums, backberries) on a tart base.
